Helping men understand their head and do something about it
Through simple tools, real conversations, and support that actually gets used
Most men don’t talk about what’s going on in their head.
Not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t know how.
Things build up.
They stay quiet.
And it gets heavy.
A simple way to understand your head
The L.A.D Project is built around one idea:
Mental Calories
Every task, event or conversation uses some. Some days you have more, some you have less.
Most days you might use them all up, and that’s normal.
Think of it like this:
When your mental calories are low, things feel harder.
Not because you’re failing, but because you’re running low.
When you wake up, ask yourself:
“How many mental calories do I feel like I have today?”
It doesn’t need to be exact, it’s just a way to manage.
Plan your day around your energy, not the other way around.
If you use more juice than you wanted to, stop and reset. You can
recharge your mental calories by training your mind. This isn’t a score,
it’s just a way to understand how your head feels today.
Something you can actually use to help in the moment
