1. Introduction

Welcome to L.A.D Slab. By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These terms apply to all orders placed with L.A.D Slab.

2. Our Products

L.A.D Slab produces handmade flapjack products. As our products are made by hand, slight variations in appearance, weight, texture, or topping placement may occur.

Product images are provided for illustrative purposes and actual products may vary slightly.

3. Allergens and Dietary Information

We take care to provide accurate ingredient and allergen information.

However, our products are prepared in an environment where allergens may be present. We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information before placing an order.

4. Ordering

When you place an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timescales stated on our website.

Delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

L.A.D Slab is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier services
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Industrial action
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery.

7. Product Storage

Customers are responsible for storing products according to any storage instructions provided.

L.A.D Slab cannot accept responsibility for deterioration in product quality resulting from incorrect storage after delivery.

8. Refunds and Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases.

Refunds or replacements may be offered where products are:

  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrectly supplied
  • Faulty or unfit for consumption

Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence where requested.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the L.A.D Slab website, including text, photographs, branding, logos, graphics, and designs, remains the property of L.A.D Slab unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful.

Subject to this, L.A.D Slab's total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products.

Any personal information provided to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon publication.
