Every L.A.D Slab is crafted using our Layer-Locked Process. A four-stage structure designed to deliver the perfect balance of softness, richness, and texture in every bite.
Instead of everything blending into one dense block, each layer plays its part. A soft oat base, a generous centre, a second oat layer to lock it in, and a sealed top to finish.
The result?
A slab that holds its structure, stays soft where it matters, and delivers something different with every bite.
It's Base-ic Instinct
Grandad Alder’s original recipe forms the base; rolled oats, butter, sugar, and golden syrup brought together into a steady, comforting layer that holds true throughout
Preserved Honour
Boddington's high fruit raspberry conserve made with only raspberries and sugar. Intensely rich, naturally sharp, and added to let the fruit lead every layer.
Touching Base
This layer anchors the slab, bringing order and precision to what follows.
In A Bit Of A Swirl
White chocolate melts through raspberry swirls in controlled contrast. A final layer that smooths the structure while lifting the slab into balance.
